Mechanical Engineering        Math Teacher

Upon graduating with my mechanical engineering degree, I began working as a manufacturing engineer, moved on to design engineering and project management for the next twenty-six years, and then, most recently, dabbled in technology consulting and brokering real-estate. During the early years, I earned my MS in Business Management from RPI’s Hartford Graduate Center

I had a bout with cancer two years ago that put me through thirty-six sessions of radiation, seven weeks of chemo, some surgery, and the loss of a good part of my muscle mass. While recovering, I obtained my teaching licenses for high school and middle school math and plan on teaching full time next year; something I’ve always planned on doing. So far, I’m cancer free.

I live in Framingham, MA with my wife Lena, who is originally from Moscow Russia, and our daughter Polina who turned ten last fall. We enjoy traveling, especially to the Caribbean, as well as France and Russia where we have extended family.

I talk with John Crossin, my roommate for all four years at the Tute, a few times a month, and once I get my muscles back, he and I will get back to bicycling and rock-climbing together; I also stay in touch with Glenn Lupton, Paul Guditz, and exchange Christmas cards with Paul Simmison and Rick Collins. I don’t know if we will make it to the reunion, but this web site has the potential to really connect the class; Thanks for putting it together.  (You're Welcome - Webmaster)
